hes the greatest DJ of al time in my opinion he had a good taste in hip hop and was alive during the era of good hip hop and died just before the shit went to shit. its perfect these tapes are a lesson in the golden age of hip hop

i've been listening to reggae/motown/soul/sports radio the last 5-6 years

i'll still listen to rap, but its basically old shit i already have on my ipod/hard drive

then i have a bunch of friends who are doing that "real hip hop" shit, but most of the time they're trying too hard to not sell out as opposed to being worried about sounding dope

i just like how DJs not just screw backdoor tracks and blend the beats ansd sometimes its like they are bringin in three or 4 diff beats and you dont kow which one willl be the next track and then they hit you with one out of left field blended and matched perfectly and youre like "AWW MAN BUT I WANTED THIS TRACK OR THAT TRACK ETC BUT THIS IS STILL DOPE ANYWAY" because the track came in on bweat and you still havent heard it in years

good djs fuck with you and know when to give you what you want and know when to get it wet (pause) and leae you with bluballs
