What she wants?
-Ipod touch
-laptop
-Wii U
-trampoline
-camera

She already has a kindle fire and wii, which to me makes the ipod touch and wii u a silly request.

Any ideas that aren't on her request list?

I, too, am surprised at the price of some of these gifts. When I turned 7 I got the board game "Mouse Trap" and that was it.

Kids these days...

Get her a friendship bracelet making book. Klutz makes some good ones. Stuffed animals are also cool. So are coloring books. Or giant art sets. DVDs, maybe, if you know her interests? Or a scrapbook making kit

Girls at that age are also all about things that make them feel older and pretty. You could get some lip gloss and cheap quick dry nail polish and scented bubble bath stuff and a little makeup kit or something.

If you're willing to spend a lot of money (considering all of the electronics), you could get her a Nintendo DS.

ipod and pads... wtf?

how about something which forces her to use her brain, especially in ways she hasn't used before?

like an educational/logic toy or board game or puzzle or a building set?

i am really curious to see how brains (and bodies) would have changed 50-100 years from now.

Get her juggling balls.

When she protests that she can't use them, retort with "aww, that's just because you haven't learned the value of hard work yet"

What the fuck is that shit? Does she have like a lower limit on what you can get her, price wise? Get that bitch a barbie doll. Or get her some coal. Sounds like a spoiled brat.

it would be funny if you got her a dildo. a giant dildo. I'm not actually suggesting you do this (obviously it would be crazy), but man, it would be super-funny to see her unwrap it and watch her try to figure out what it was, before her parents snatched it away and her dad hit you in the face.

LMAO that is great.

When I was 7 I was asking for anything TMNT related. Not high priced shit like this for my birthday. If I was lucky I would possibly get a Gameboy game. I remember for my 7th or 8th birthday I did get lucky and got two Gameboy games. I thought I was the king of the world that year. No wonder kids these days feel like they are entitled to shit with out having to work for it...parents allowing a 7 year old to have a laptop and iPod. I got my first laptop and iPod with my own money that I earned by working.

Wow WTF. My kids have a Wii and WiiU, but that shit was like family Christmas present stuff. They don't have a tablet device, iAnything, or a camera better than the little tiny ass o e you can get for kids with the double viewfinders. My son got a nice BB gun last year for his 9th. This year he is getting a scooter and some games and shit, but not a damn console, trampoline, etc.

I would definitely recommend anything for this shopping list here:

http://www.cracked.com/article_19288_8-weirdly-sexual-products-you-wont-believe-are-kids.html

Her dad would probably love it if you got her a thong, tramp stamp, push-up bra, or the peekaboo stripper pole.

This is what she wants from Mom and me.

She wants a purple soccer ball from Dad.

great job Steve for contributing to her upcoming fattiness. it is so sickening when parents openly contribute to destroying their children.

sorry, i am just venting, as i see stupid parents on a daily basis who engage in passive child abuse. maybe your step-daughter is also a budding gymnast, i wouldn't know.

but if during her free time she mostly sits and plays electronic games....

Good for enforcing pushing that engineering expectation onto little girls. Also make sure to drop the hints that no less than MIT is acceptable for college.

I'm not buying her mac. I won't even by myself a mac. 200 bucks for laptop isn't bad.

Grandpa and Grandma are getting her that.

She better enjoy this only child for the next 4 months.
