My old man south of Burlington just called and said there was a constant line or small waves of either helicopters or high flying planes for the past 5 min heading towards the Raleigh area - nearly a constant droning. Granted he can exaggerate but wouldnt normally call me this late just to ask about it. There some regional flight wing doing training? Found the Snowden guy in the bush nearby? World War Z?

I saw them too, but they were flying west, not east. Looked to be at least 30 of them if not more, I didn't catch the first of them.

I'm about 9 miles SW of Burlington, and I too heard them. About a week ago 2 double prop military helicopters flew over my house super low. It shook my whole house, wish I would have videoed it .

It happens quite frequently here actually. We must be in a common military flight path or something.

Yea friend who lives in Graham posted about it last night. Said she was outside and saw over 50 aircraft flying together. Obviously it sounded like a military training exercise.

National Guard air station at RDU sends apaches out all the time, they fly over my neighborhood (near Crabtree) alllllll the time. Usually a few times per day. It's annoying as fuck.

yeah i saw 19 Hercs fly over North Myrtle Beach on Saturday.

Odd formation, too. Well, not really formation so much as mostly just in trail. looked like a gaggle of them. i don't know much at all about how Hercs do business, though.
