when a few people die every hour of every day due to gun crimes alone; and we let victims go bankrupt because of those medical bills. Why are some things worth huge dollar funds for victims and some are not? If we are going to pay for some victims, shouldn't they be for crimes that are statistically significant and not those which are outliers?

We give a big "fuck you" to anyone who can't afford medical care... unless it involved 24/7 news coverage, then you get a few million dollars. ^^ i volunteer every week (well lately, every other week) and donate 10% of my after-tax income to charities. i also spend time writing letters and lobbying for things i think need to change.
