truth, though with it being on a thursday it may cut down on some boat traffic.


but the weather seems like it's going to be crap on thursday, so i may forego the lake and just find something around Charlotte to do. Free concert at USNWC and fireworks perhaps.

My brother and his family are coming to visit for the weekend. There's a riverwalk festival or something in downtown Milton near us, so checking that out on the 4th. Cookout and playing in the water with the kids on the 5th, 5K with my sister-in-law on the 6th.

man my friends are lame. a few of them opted to work today. so right now i'm sitting on the couch, really hoping it rains so i don't feel like i missed a big pool or lake day.

can't decide if i just want to drive up to the lake and hang out with my parents and ride the jetski around all day in my american flag shirt or stay in and do nothing.

I think its either some grindcore show at slims or IWTDI (yeah i know...) but I didn't really ask. I totally forgot about the fireworks... I kind of want to avoid downtown now. You should get some blue corn chips, nacho cheese and salsa. Cinco de mayo up in this bitch

Made an array of baked goods, brought cupcakes to friends who had to work that night, went swing dancing, set off a few mini fireworks in a parking lot. Then went somewhere else when bad moodyness ensued and we watched a movie and talked until 4am.

well pretty much chilled at the house because I had worked 15 damn days straight - then was going to go see some fireworks and guess what? I got fuckin' called in to work - f'd up my whole evening.....and couldn't even drink b/c of being on call.....

Drinks, chips, and pizza was had before the fireworks started. Still hard to make a board game night sound exciting. But it was perfect for me, especially since I was feeling a bit under the weather.
