This is a recurring problem and I need to find a solution. So I am on my iPad too right now. Saw an interesting video on FB using the FB app. Touched the top right and copy link, and then pasted the link here.

Question: is there any way to follow that link using the FB app? Because using the FB app you can watch FB videos.

Or: is there another better way to post/share a link to a video from the FB app with people who you are interacting with outside FB?

Finally, how is it possible to watch the same video from inside the app, but not on a browser on the iPad? Does the video format change when inside the app? Apple really has to solve this... It is the 21st century for god's sake, the age of... *gasp* ...iPads and stuff.
