I'm not against medical MJ, and find the entire war on drugs an astronomical waste, but this is just silly.

doesn't look like a government program... at least in the 2 minutes i browsed their website so i don't see a problem as long as it doesn't get public funds and isn't breaking any laws.

Seeing as it is still illegal on the federal level, I don't see how there are already assistance programs for it.

The Charlotte story really solidified it for me. Marijuana has never been a big topic for me, so I've paid little attention to the debate, etc. I've been against jailtime for users for a longtime though. But now, the evidence and research showing how it can be such a useful medicine is amazing. Legalization aside, fuck any jackass that stands in the way of expanding MJ for medical use. More 'dangerous' than cocaine my ass. More problematic than vicodin my ass.
