Well, there has to be a name for it. I just didn't know it before a few months ago. Just as the compliment to "homosexual" is "heterosexual," the compliment to "transgender" is "cisgender." There are the inbetweens, too... "bisexual" and "nonbinary"

wait a minute...what's the fucking difference, even, between "normal" and "common"....it's almost exactly the same concept

the normal penis size is the most common penis size, the normal height is most common height, and so on

I mean, I guess we could define "normal" as an average, and "common" as a mode...but still, in both cases you're referring to the center of the distribution, in some sense.

I guess when you're dealing with unquantifiable data, you have to be more careful...but still, if a particular trait is common enough, then by definition it's normal. For example, it's normal for Asian people to have black hair. And for exactly the same reason, it's normal for human beings to feel like the gender associated with whatever's between their legs.

I understand why transgender people don't like being called abnormal, but that's what they are.

gender is a physical trait. you born with male parts? you're male. born with female parts? female.

if you swing some other way, that's orientation. completely different trait.

it's a simple concept people, let's not get it mixed up.

Close... but not quite. Sex is a physical trait. If you're born with male parts, your sex is male. Gender is the way you portray or perceive yourself. Your sex can be male while your gender is female (transgender). Or, your sex can be male, while your gender is nonbinary (genderqueer). Or a number of other combos.

Orientation is your preference of partner(s). You can prefer the same sex (homosexual). You can prefer the opposite sex (heterosexual). You can prefer multiple partners (polyamorous) or none at all (asexual). Or a number of other descriptions...
