well, i could have if i'd made plans to by Tuesday...but I just went on the road a couple of weekends ago (and spent 4 weeks in NC earlier this summer), and figured I'd stay local-ish this weekend.

i thought i was gonna have to forego fun things this weekend for lack of time to do everything. looks like i should have gone to vegas or key west or something.

well, my quarternary (yes you're right; i just looked it up--that's how fucking bored i am) option was World Of Beer (think Flying Saucer) with a friend from work--he suggested it yesterday because he was bored, too, then backed out due to not feeling well and suggested we go today. I texted him today and never heard back.

Drinking alone is slotted below working out a bunch and doing household chores/projects on my list of ways to spend a weekend...even though I do have a whole case of Krombacher that I got from a Luftwaffe student at work, that I haven't even opened yet.

You can combine drinking with any activity. And dancing...booze/dancing go well with all chores and projects, especially those that require power tools.
