It seems that time and time again famous athletes think they are above the law, think their bad decisions don't have that many consequences, just don't give a shit, or are dumb.

Here are some past examples in no particular order:
#1) Tiger Woods - top golfer in the world for a long time; cheated on his wife multiple times; has somewhat recovered in fandom and endorsements
#2) Alex Rodriguez-arguably the top baseball player in the past 20 years, used PED's; ruined his legacy; lots of bad decisions lately
#3) Roger Clemens - one of the best pitchers of all-time; used PED's and lied about it, has been shunned by a lot of fans and really hurt his reputation
#4) Bret Favre - former NFL MVP and best qb in the league; played a little too long for his own good, but no one will probably mention this 20 years from now; showed pictures of his penis to a Jet's employee; lost a lot of respect, but this will probably be completely forgotten over time
#5) Michael Vick - Golden God, highest paid QB in the league at one point; operated dog fighting ring, etc.; his career hasn't been the same since
#6) Kobe Bryant - The best NBA player in the league for a few years, supposedly raped a girl and paid her off; has mostly recovered, but still has lots of haters
#7) Barry Bonds - one of the best homerun hitters of all-time; used steroids and lied about it for years, pretty much everyone hates him and thinks he's a piece of shit
#8) Barry Sanders - arguably the best NFL running back of all-time; retired early from the Lions because they kept sucking. This one doesn't necessarily fit the definition of demise, but it is an unfortunate end to an amazing career that disappointed a lot of people.
#9) O.J. Simpson - ...
#10) Lance Armstrong - ...

Bryce Harper seems pretty ripe for a major fuck up soon. He will get his $400M contract and then go kill a stripper or something.

LeShon McCoy is not really a top athlete, but him and his crew fucked up last week. Granted they may get off lightly since they didn't realize they were brawling with off duty cops.
