Not sure if this is a common issue or if there is a fix for it.
But it seems with my iPad, when I wake it up from sleep (closing the lid), half of the time it can't seem to reconnect to my WiFi router anymore. Even if I shut off the iPad or turn off/on the WiFi on the iPad, it still won't work. It'll scan and find the Wireless Networks, but only fix is I have to unplug/replug the actual WiFi router again.
I tried another iPad and I get the same issues. I tried my friend's WiFi Router at her place and same thing. 8/21/2013 11:41:04 AM |

mine is 3rd. my friend's is 4th. i'm wondering if it has anything to do with my router settings. i didn't really touch anything, i've always had the ip assignment set as dynamic but maybe it conflicts with my other computer when it wakes up
ok i don't know what i'm talking about 8/21/2013 11:57:12 AM |

Update the firmware on your router. Sounds like it has some software problems. 8/21/2013 12:13:39 PM |

It says my IOS 6.1.3 is up to date and I don't see any pending updates.
I can update the firmware on my router, but it has the same issue with other routers too. 8/22/2013 10:48:11 AM |

anyone have any issues connecting Ipads to ad hoc shared wireless
im running win 7 home and cannot, for the life of me, get this to work correctly.
the only thing i have not tried is an unsecured network
wep will let me join the network but will not connect to the web / WPA2 will not let me join the network at all
ive tried every tutorial i can find and am pretty confident that i am doing this correctly. i have seen this being an issue all over the web but cannot find a viable solution.
anyone got any help. its going to be a non issue for the rest of my week and i am not really going to be testing this again until prob. tuesday when i travel for work 8/28/2013 6:39:19 PM |
