I use to be able to sit and watch football all day..but I like to get out and do shit on Sundays. Sometimes it's shitty yard work and sometimes it's something fun. Sitting in front of a tv all day is for rainy/snowy/freezing days.

DirectTV is awesome, and its only been pretty severe storms where the signal gets interrupted.

At my last house, my DirecTV never went out. Even when we got a seriously bad hail storm, it was still rocking.

At my current house, it goes out almost every time it rains, and sometimes if it's just cloudy and not even raining. But at my current house it's on a pole fairly low to the ground. I'm wondering if moving it to the roof would help.

But about Sunday Ticket. I had it for free last year and never watched it. If I actually paid for it, I'd feel obligated to watch football all day Sunday to justify the purchase. I love football as much as the next guy, but some weeks Sunday is my only day off, and there's shit around here that needs to be done.

Just got DirectTV set up today and am loving it so far. Can't wait for this Sunday as I do plan on watching football every Sunday all day. As for having stuff to do, I own a condo so not a lot of outdoor maintenance required.

My main concern was losing the signal but, as most on here have already pointed out, those I talked to said it only happens during major storms. Guess I'll have to wait and see...

I tried to order online prior to signing another contract with gayT&T uverse. They fucked up my order and changed the rate from what the website said, I called and the guy said he could not fix it because he did not have that on his screen.....needless to say if they are fucking things up before even getting out to do an install I ran like hell.
