I love Chrome. I've been using it exclusively for around 2 years or something, and it's never given me a single cause for complaint.

Google doesn't fuck around.

the single biggest thing that sucks about chrome is the fact that it forces searches on you...for example, if i type "ebay terms of service", chrome insists that i search ebay listings for "terms of service"...so now i have to use "google: ebay terms of service"...last time i checked, there was no way to disable this, either...so, yeah, fuck chrome

firefox/waterfox is a better browser, IMO...except for the damn memory leaks

as a result, i use chrome when i know want to keep stuff open from day to day and waterfox when i want to do something quick and efficient

^There is a setting somewhere that changes that. Mine is google by default unless I do ebay: BUT the search on ebay is always the last thing in the list of suggestions.

let me know if you remember...i did a quick check and didn't find anything...neither of these do it:

Settings > Manage search engines... > [remove everything except Google]
Settings > Show advanced settings... > [uncheck "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar"]

it's annoying and a stupid "feature"

Chrome is like a mac. Annoying features out the ass but I like using it for some reason
