I use Grooveshark via Chrome to listen to music everyday. Clearly it's not the same as listening to MP3s using Media Player/Winamp. It'd be nice to have a graphic equalizer built into my browser so I can play around with it to improve my listening experience. Does anyone here have any solutions? 9/20/2013 11:34:37 AM |

why an equalizer for your browser, why not one of the options for your OS? 9/20/2013 12:14:14 PM |

That is because I'm using a Creative X-Fi DAC. It plugs in my USB and I plug my speakers into it. 9/20/2013 2:30:27 PM |

^ GS has a great collection of music, and some of their broadcasts are great. The X-Fi does a decent job of enhancing the sound, way better than my onboard laptop sound card. Also, what else would you use for listening to music besides speakers? headphones?
^^ I need it at a browser level since I cannot play with any OS level EQ settings once I connect my DAC. 9/20/2013 3:36:54 PM |

your DAC doesn't have any tuning or equalizing software that comes with it? 9/20/2013 3:47:59 PM |

That plus their graphical equalizer add-on might do what you want.
There's an app for Mac OS called Audio Hijack that definitely does what you want, and I found this app by looking for windows apps similar to that.
also, does this not apply: http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=47194
