I have been suspended for months and accused of trolling. I was then threatened with further bans by a user named synapse if I even go into certain threads.

I'm no expert on censorship, chilling effects, etc. but this is clearly wrong. I have been on TWW for ten years without a problem and suddenly I am being injured for something I typed on a forum?

My first reaction was to just not use this site anymore but I can't leave this trap open to harm others.

Any recommendations on how to proceed? I will be checking back occasionally so if I disappear from TWW again, you know it is because I was banned again.

I want a thread that lists banned users, why they were banned, and how long they're banned for.

Or better yet a trial thread where users like GeniusBoy etc are allowed to defend themselves before a jury of their peers

The problem is half the mods are either braindead SJWs (EMCE) or Gawker readers (synapse) etc... so they will get extremely triggered by posts they don't agree with

For example, I'm now unable to post in chit chat because I must have triggered a mod.

I retract my statement that this thread has good ideas, and I kinda wish I hadn't bumped it. Any discussion about why and to what degree someone was punished quickly becomes toxic toward either the judge or the accused, neither of which I think is really fair, nor constructive. Better the Mods just tell the user why they were disciplined via PM. For the fee they charge for their TWW services, it's hard to say that anyone is really being "injured" if a mod abuses their power.
