I know my first problem is that it's a ford. Beyond that it's been smooth coasting until literally today. Now the lock will unlock while we are driving. I couldn't distinguish a pattern to figure out what was causing it to suddenly unlock. Then when I pressed the fob to lock it will beep twice and the light indicating it's locked will not turn on but it is locked. It's acting very strange and I can't figure out why, nothing on google to give me some ideas. Would any of you know what the hell is going on?

Sounds like you're gonna have to try out Ford's Warranty Service.

Ford's, to my knowledge, have been doing great for the past few years. I think they developled a pretty bad reputation in the 90's, but a lot of that has blown over by now I think. Don't be so harsh on your car

Just take it to the dealer, it's under warranty. Sounds like an odd gremlin that would be a pain to trace on your own.
