I'm currently still with a status of international student and F-1 visa. I'm using OPT( Optional Practical Training) to work. It will expire soon (in two days). In the meanwhile, my wife is applying greencard for both of us. Do I need to apply other visas like H1-b (working visa) between now and greencard is issued? Thanks. 12/19/2013 9:51:38 PM

If you're still a student or not you should contact the Office of International Services at State. What you're asking is basically what they specialize in...worked there as an undergrad. If you're a former student I'm sure they'll at least give you some direction as to what to do. Good luck. 12/19/2013 11:48:38 PM
