My crazy rant in response to Ishan Raval

Why stop at the library?

-Rename Ft Bragg, Ft Polk, Fort Stewart and Ft Pickett. But leave Ft Lee, since Robert E. Lee opposed slavery but fought for VA (learned that today in a civil war history class)

-Also rename all the things named after union officers who had slaves, let start with Ulysses Grant (he had 4 even after the war).

-Gen Polk's dad was on the board of trustees at UNC and a NC legislator, so rename all the Polk stuff in NC too.

-Lincoln... take him off the penny.

-Jefferson... he must be a bigot, remove his name

-Washington, F that guy too, he obviously was a terrible person even though the atrocity of slavery was unfortunately accepted in the US at one time.

-We should stop sending money to nations who still have slaves and the government doesn't stop it, like many countries in Africa.

-We should stop supporting companies with new forms of slavery, like sweat shops. So good by nike and many other name brands.

- End pro sports that make billions upon billions of dollars and disguise the slavery by sending comparatively small multimillion dollar checks to athletic black men and women.

-Destroy/Ban/Delete all confederate flags from history (despite history and our nations wars) and replace with a fictions flag representing a "religion" thought up by a felon and sold as a way to make money and be relevant.

Seriously, I find these kinds of issues grandstanding to the highest degree as a facade of social justice while not actually solving anything. South African students started doing this a few months ago to take down the statues of some founders of South African universities, meanwhile the country's education system continues to collapse due to the worse than Warren Harding Administration-level robbery, theft, and graft of government assets by the administration of Jacob Zuma and the African National Congress Party that are a disgrace to the memory of Nelson Mandela. Your campaign for social justice will likely fall short even if you get what you want, because removing statues and changing the names of libraries does nothing.
