I like this game as we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We match up better with Syracuse than Duke or Virginia. Syracuse has good forwards and just one 3 point threat which is not too much of an offensive challenge but Ennis is going to be HARD to cover. I think Lewis is better equipped to deal with the zone but im not sure if he will be able to contain Ennis and i think Barber will do better defensively against him. Their Zone is good but this team struggles when teams play tough defense. I can see our Freshmen bigs having a big game once Vandy gets into foul trouble as i expect him to do in the first half. Sooner or later Syracuse is going to lose as they had too many close games and the probability of them winning all those games is extremely low so they might as well lose to the Pack.

I'm the only one on here that has clear, transparent expectations. 5th-7th would be a decent year. 8th-10th would be bad but not bad and less than 10th would be unacceptable. I've said this all season and complained earlier when we were doing poorly but we have improved so i'm not complaining right now.
