I remember learning about them in some business class.... i can't recall if it was economics in college, or my vocational class in high school. But i remember that the text book gave some serious publicity for them.

One time when I was working at the mall during the Christmas season, I accidentally got in the wrong line and ate at Sbarro's during my lunch break. It was memorable in a bad way. December 2003, I believe.

It always tasted cheap and manufactured to me anyway. I guess the biggest draw was they they served big slices....but whatevs

So, it seems like a Sbarros is usually located inside of a mall or airport.

The American mall is dying, I think, and there are only so many airports. No wonder they filed for bankruptcy!

Is this the pizza place thats in the Cary mall? If so, I've had a bite or two every couple of months for the last several years. Every now and then we'll eat at the food court in the cary mall just for the simple fact that it allows everyone in the family to get what they want. One of my boys always gets a couple of slices of pizza but doesn't quite finish them so I'll finish it before tossing it into the trash.

It's definitely on the low end of the food court totem poll for me

Ate some at the CLT airport on the way to Belize for our honeymoon. We were hungover as shit and craving pizza. Pizza is like sex to me...even if its shitty, its still pizza. It was poor pizza, but it hit the spot it was intended for.
