So I had some of my identity stolen, and for the most part it has not been a serious issue....

,,, except for the "law firm" started calling me telling me about a case against my social security number. These people were very rude and it is the most obvious scam. They want money for legal representation or something, I cannot fully understand them due to their accents. They have called my work (before I resigned) and apparently they do that to many people.

After many arguments the guy claiming to be "AJ Scott", the guy in charge, told my fiance to "go back to his country" .... which is confusing in many ways. This has since prompted me to start countering their harassment with some from tww.

Please call them and make rude insults about India or about scammers. My particular favorite was giving them the LA field number for the FBI which is 310 477 6565 FYI

Anyway, eventually they block your number. But this could lead to some serious entertainment for at least a few minutes.

These people are calling at all times of day and they were calling my work, which I have no idea how they got that.

I'm kind of frustrated at this point.

I also said say the rude things because at one point they were calling me a stupid American blah blah something and then hung up. These people are pieces of shit.... but by all means defend the scam scum.

Well they called my work multiple times and at first I was concerned why they had all of my information like my address SSN and my work number.

Since getting my info stolen I have become pretty good at screening my calls, there were approximately 75 unique phone numbers calling me over a week. This one however was particularly aggressive and when I finally told them that if you have a lawsuit you are first served legal paperwork and that calling my work is harassment, I hung up. They called my work, again, my coworker gave me the phone and they told me not to hang up on them.
