One time while living in lake park my roommate decided he was going to throw a record like a frisbee off our 4th floor balcony. Holy jesus man. We got lucky it didn't kill somebody. The thing shoots straight up in the air, like 300 ft, then comes down like a fucking missile and lands like 12 ft from this dude who just parked his car walking to his apt. Fucking insane. Whew.

i'm somewhat impressed that lake park is still standing. those were built in the first couple of years I was in college. I was the first one to live in one of the units one summer, and as a guy who knew nothing about construction, it all felt really shoddily built, which I don't think anyone would debate.

I lived in Lake Park for 3 years. During my last year there my downstairs neighbor would blast Rap music on his porch at 8am every Saturday. My room is right above it. He was about 60. And black. Yup.

And one time some black dude starts throw pebbles at my windows at 9pm. I went out and check on it he ask "Yo man can you ask Tammy to come out?". Tammy never came out. She didn't live there. He was disappointed.
