My dad got a new Straight Talk cell phone and a button fell off so he called the company to see what he needed to do to get a replacement and they asked if he has restarted his phone to fix the issue.

I was on the phone with a Straight Talk operator for about 10 minutes and hung up after understanding about 30% of the convo.

went to ST's online chat option
chat person tells me I need to call an operator
I tell him/her that I can't understand the operator
chat person proceeds to help me through my issues

I wonder if he was just relaying my requests to a phone operator

honestly their english usually isn't that bad in my experience

it's mostly the crappy audio quality and partly the unusual cadence
