It's fine to care about an athlete you like going to a team you like, just like it's fine to care about an actor you like being cast for a role you're excited about.

But there is no need to give a crap about the personal life of Brad Pitt or Derek Jeter.

You know what I think is really crazy? If I decided one day to post like a lot of people I'm friends with on Facebook, all "praise God," "give thanks to God," "share if God has been good to you," people would wonder what the fuck was wrong with me...and no one wonders what the fuck is wrong with all of those people in the first place.
