This guy is claiming that he:

- adopted a cat from Cat Clinic of Cary
- took it to his normal vet the next day due to an ear infection
- called Cat Clinic of Cary to ask for a refund of his $150 adoption fee to cover some of the costs of the treatment from the other vet
- returned to Cat Clinic with info from the previous doctor as requested by Cat Clinic
- had his cat taken by Cat Clinic who refused to return it and had him trespassed from the property

We used to take our cats there. We were pretty happy with it because it was right around the corner from our house and they treated our cats well.
After the economy started to dip that changed completely. The next few visits were really awkward and they were pressuring us to buy really expensive medications for our otherwise healthy cats. They said it was preventative.
We stopped when the vet tried to guilt trip my wife into shelling out a few hundred bucks for preventative medicine and then got irate with her when she said no.

We ended up adopting a dog the next year and moved to Mayfair. They're awesome.

Don't go to vets that only work on a particular animal species for companion care. It ends up just being a crazy cat/dog/horse person that is using their business to feed their crazy addiction.

He claims he didn't know that cats needed their claws trimmed. That's something so basic, I can't understand why he wouldn't think that. Of course they left the cat's claws long while it was at the clinic so if it was attacked by another cat while roaming the clinic it could defend itself.

There's also a Thai/Korean/Vietnamese restaurant in there thats pretty good, Tangerine Cafe.

I just went there the day this was posted, because it was late and I wanted Chinese food. I saw that it was in the same center as Cat Clinic and was amused. But yeah, do not recommend at all. It smelled musty/moldy in the restaurant, couldn't smell the food they were cooking right in front of me. Sort of like a wet dog smell. Food was sub-par even for normal Chinese takeout.
