Is the "no pets allowed" negotiable? My niece is looking for a place to live in the NCSU area, but has to live with her golden retriever Mr. Sparkles. He's a seeing-eye dog. Will the landlord make any exceptions? He is extremely well-behaved as long as he doesn't smell hot pockets.

I think it's against the ADA to not let someone live somewhere with their service animal
