Would put this in Lounge, but it will get more traffic here.
Simple questions:
1. Are you Christian currently? 2. What denomination? 3. If you answer "no" to #2, could you briefly describe what makes your church unique doctrine wise. Please be specific. "We differ because we follow the KJV only and don't take blood transfusions" is an appropriate example. "We just follow the Word of The Lord and love others" is vague.
Thank you for participating in this unscientific experiment.
As for me:

You setting yourself up. Like I said, TWW don't believe in GOD, He Zeus, Miracles (including 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team), Ghost or any supernatural phenomenons. But we do believe that our Athletic Department will rise again!

1.) no 2.) grew up methodist, though 3.) i liked my church growing up...most people seemed accepting (for example, our church accepted homosexuals as "regular" people and had a pastor that was an open lesbian without any sort of backlash or massive drop in attendance)
^ i'm sure the OP knows all of that...it's always a slow day on TWW

Yes, there are Christians who claim no denomination, but attend a "nondenominational" church that still has many unique doctrines that one may say are actually the hallmark of a denomination.
But thanks for playing. 7/24/2014 11:47:17 AM |

If really appreciate if some of you people with less common denominations would expound on what doctrines make you unique.
"We follow the bible as written" is as vague as saying "we have a relationship with Jesus." Tell me about your stances on the issues. I know so little of you people. 7/25/2014 8:52:07 AM |

Mary is the mediatrix (Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 969); Mary made atonement for the sins of man (Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma, page 213); Mary is the subject of preaching and worship (Vatican Council II, p. 420)
