The Original MK
I watched this one and was shocked that it was < 6. Critics must suck these days.

^Good list. I find that decent but cheesy action flicks can easily wind up in the less than 6 category, but then equally as cheesy dramas with an A list cast always end up in the above 6.7 category. FML 8/5/2014 1:43:35 AM |

I feel that way about the shitty nick cage movies. Also, Nicolas Refn does not get a lot of love from the critics I guess. What was so work with Valhalla rising to put it under 6.0?

All the movies I've liked and thought would be under 6 have actually ended up being over 6. This one surprised me most with a 6.1
I figured it would be like 3 or 4. 8/9/2014 11:15:43 PM |

Does anyone actually care what the IMDB score is? I thought RT was all that mattered... 8/9/2014 11:31:10 PM |
BanjoMan All American 9609 Posts user info edit post |
I would argue that IMDB is still a metric that a lot of people refer to when on the fence between two different movies. RT is nice because it includes both the fan and critic response. So, there is a lot to glean from movies like Drive that were totally adored by critics and mostly hated by fans. But then movies like Constantine were panned by critics, but mostly liked by the fans.

Only got a 5.3. I always enjoyed it. It's like the 90's version of Heathers/Mean Girls.
