More of an annoying laugh but there's a morning radio show (Bob and the showgram?) where the guy wheezes everytime he laughs, I keep thinking he's going to keel over and die every 30 seconds.

I loathe NPR, but I have heard it from time to time and there is a hoarse old woman on there whose voice is kind of shaky and she sounds like she is about 100 years old.

The woman you're talking about is Diane Rehm. She has a condition called spasmodic dysphonia that makes her voice sound like that. While I agree that her voice is not the best for radio, she's a fantastic interviewer, and she has lots of guest hosts. Unfortunately, it seems like she has guest hosts more and more often due to injuries or sickness.

There's a dude here at work with a voice that Sonia describes as "chipmunk from Hell." It's hard to describe it: kind of high-pitched and nasally, and almost like someone has sped up the tape when he talks.

At my job, there is this guy with a super high-pitched voice who talks really loudly. You can hear him through walls and he always sounds agitated.
