Position Title: Rickshaw Driver Downtown Concierge

Compensation: Drivers rent the bikes by the shift and all money made on the street is yours. Pay is entirely from tips. The better your personality, the better your tips! We are not just transportation, we are "Transportainment"! You must able to communicate well and be experienced in the art of smiling!
We can train you how to drive, but we can't train you how to have personality, so personality is a must!

You must be minimum of 18 years of age, have a working cell phone, valid driver's license, valid credit or debit card and be able to pass a criminal back ground check with no DUI's or felonies in the past three years.

Raleigh Rickshaw operates as a TEAM in order to create a sustainable, healthy and fun workplace.

When I think of "coolest job ever" I definitely think of a rickshaw driver.

When I was a kid and adults would ask me and my friends what we wanted to be when we grew up, my friends were like "Astronaut! Fighter pilot! Fireman!" but not me. I proudly pointed at a picture of a horse and chariot and said "I want to be that horse". Now that opportunity is upon me! I am going to quit my job at NASA and come drive rickshaws. After all, it is the coolest job ever.

Definitely a different scene, but the Rickshaw drivers in Charleston crush it and gets tons of ass. They normally make in the $300-$400 range during the summer and get a great workout. But they also have their pick of hot CofC girls and drunk vacationers. Much slimmer pickings in Raleigh.

Hey Folks, We have been in business since 2007, most of our current drivers have been with us more than 4 years. drivers make $75-200 a night CASH, and $300-$500 during special events like the upcoming hopscotch festival, Spark-con, blue Grass festival and Ray Price Harley davison festival all downtown and all in september, of course thats depending on how much personality you have!

This is the first time we have offered the position to NCSU students. hoping we could get some quality people to add to our growing team.

Hate if you must, but our exceptional people excel, and for those few who have genuine interest, come try out for our team!
