This really annoys me. Over a long stretch, you'll probably only save 1 - 2 minutes. You're hurting your gas mileage and putting extra wear on your brakes.

While annoying, these people don't hold a gattdamn candle to the 60% of all drivers who cause delays due to fucking with their phones while at stoplights.

I don't know how many times I've missed a light because some fuck stick playing with their phone and failing to pay attention.

These people should have their arms ripped off and beaten with them.

I race from stop light to stop light, but never do the zipping back and forth between lanes. That's dangerous and inconsiderate. Those people are assholes.

I do it only in a straight line, if possible.

^ don't know how to answer that... but when i say race, i just mean i accelerate faster than anybody (in my manual gear toyota rav4 lol) else, reach the speed limit, and then coast smoothly till the next intersection/stop light.

what ends up happening is that i usually end up seeing the 2nd place car 100-300 yards behind me, depending on the length of the road, and if the road is long, a couple of cars usually catch up and overtake me beating me to the next light since i coast at the speed limit till the next light.

i like the sense of acceleration, like most men, i guess.

Yea I would rather folks rush than the usual assholes I get behind (especially here in CH) who fuck around on their phone, wait 3-5 seconds after the light turns green to start moving and then make up for it by blowing through the next light, leaving the rest of us stuck. Where if they had just paid fucking attention and not driven like a grandm, several other people would have made the light and they would not have to run them.

pussification of america would be if people actually got sad if somebody who wanted to be a badass and get up to 55mph on a 2000 foot section of road between lights, skidded into an intersection and got smashed by a dumptruck. otherwise, it's just people basically being like "what an idiot"

there is a group of stoplights/intersections in Charlotte on 11th St from Tryon to Davidson (5 intersections/stoplights) where if you go like 25-30 in between them, you hit them all green. I constantly see billy badass in his rav4 and 3 series bmw rev up their shitty engine to be able to utilize their brakes when it's not necessary

guess they didn't get enough speeding tickets as a teenager or something
