For me, the problem with talking about "porn tastes" is that five people can watch the same porn and each like it for a completely different reason, and a lot of times, if I'm the fifth person, the other four have opinions that I don't want to be associated with at all.

Take, for example, the backroom casting couch. It's been a couple of years since I've had porn-level internet, but I assume this is either still around or some of you remember it. I liked that series because:

-The girls usually looked realistic
-The camera quality was high and I generally approved of the shots they chose
-I like interviews. Don't know why.
-Nothing too disgusting went down
-The sex was realistic and appealing
-No condoms. I appreciate the need for condoms in real life, I don't need them in my fantasy life.

I did not particularly care for the things the series was known for, and would either ignore or skip them. For example:

-The whole facade that these are real girls who think this is a real tryout that will get them a job. Tricking girls into sex doesn't do it for me, so I don't pay any attention
-Anal. Anal doesn't do it for me in general, and sometimes on this show they try to highlight the pain of it and that really bugs me. So I skip it.

I think these are both pretty reasonable lists, and if you removed the parts I don't like a lot of girls would be down with it. As it is, the one time a girlfriend asked to see porn and I showed her one of these, she jumped straight to, "You like anal and tricking girls into sex? Is THAT what you're into?" And I had to spend a half hour explaining myself, which is made difficult by the fact that all of the comments on the video would be credulous of the casting gimmick, effusive in their discussion of the anal, or just sexually aroused by couches and blurred faces.

In terms of sharing with SOs, I had better luck with Wifey's World. I like this lady not because I'm a fan of impossibly huge cans, but because even excluding these she's still an attractive MILF type and plus it's just one of the first porns I found as a young man so I kind of "grew up with it." But I think girls like it because it's tongue-in-cheek, they don't take themselves too seriously, it never gets weird, and the two people are clearly a couple in a committed and loving relationship. That last part basically is porn for girls.
