We'll need to get 2 wins out of: FSU (L), @ Clemson (L), BC (winnable), @Louisville (L), @ Cuse (winnable), vs GT (winnable), vs Wake (easy win), @UNC (winnable).

No reason on we can't win two from BC, Wake, @Cuse. GT and UNC will definitely be tougher games....but far from automatic L's like FSU, CLemson, and Louisville.

My heart can't take the thought of hoping for more than winning one game at a time. I can't even be cautiously optimistic about the rest of the season, just about this week. Then maybe next. (Although that'll take some delusional optimism for THAT game).

It's not coachspeak. It's just delusional as fans to be plotting a bowl game 3 games into the season when that's where our season ended last year. Obviously we're a different team than we were last year, but it's September for crying out loud, a bowl is the last thing to worry about.

It's not delusional to look at your team & the teams on your schedule & say I think we can win 6 games (or 2 games or 10 games or however many you think they can win). Fans do that before the season starts and throughout the season. I would call anyone projecting us to win 10 games delusional, but to call anyone delusional simply for suggesting this team could finish 6-6 is quite odd to me

I get that there's reason to not get carried away and to temper expectations. But there's nothing wrong with me looking ahead and saying "hey maybe we can win 3 more games". As a fan, I am able to both worry about one game at a time, and look ahead at the schedule to gauge where we're at/where we could be. The two aren't exclusive.

I'm not saying it's delusional to think we could win 6 games. I'm just saying at this point in the season, it's delusional to think we have a clue how this team is actually going to perform against any kind of pressure. While 6 games or more may be completely attainable, at this point, I don't think we've been tested enough to know whether or not we'll completely fold come ACC play.

I mean I have been pretty critical of the team so far and even I thought if we won the first 4 games we had a shot at a bowl. Wake, BC, Syracuse and GT I don't think its unreasonable to win 2 of those games although playing at BC now doesnt seem like as good a chance as it did a week ago.

As others have said our schedule this year is pretty pathetic to the point if you can't win six games you have a real issue that can't be blamed on being a new head coach and system like last year.
