Hello all,

Recently I was trespassed from Carter-Finley for a year...just wondering, what would happen if I were to go back/how would they know I was there?

You think the security guy(s) who got you tossed and trespassed won't be working the game you want to go to?

Also, any tickets associated with you have been flagged.

i'm not saying being seen isn't legitimate, just less likely as it has been a bit since I was trespassed and out of 60,000 people how are they going to notice me? I had to give them my name etc....I can still request tickets though so I'm not sure that I've been flagged in any type of way.

You can request tickets because it's easier to invalidate the tickets you do request at a later point (and even nab you at the gate?) than to write you out of the system completely and then reinstate you next year when your trespass is over.

I would give more details, but I haven't had my meeting with student conduct yet so I don't want to say too much on here. If it even matters....but anyways, I didn't technically even get caught doing anything wrong. A friend did and I was with him....the lady beside us ratted us out, though when the police got there we were doing nothing wrong. They still wrote us up, and on our way out one of the cops even told me not to worry about it too much.

Yeah, don't worry because you're only banned for a year and nothing else will come of it.

Willfully trespassing on university property is something you should worry about, though.

The games are on TV.

yeah, I'm not planning on trying to go to another game after this weekend. But its parents and families weekend and my dad already has the tickets....including mine though so I don't think I'll have to show a Student ID.

Yeah it's probably not worth getting in real trouble over.

But.

Can't you use somebody else's student ticket and ID? Whenever I've been to games as a student (even after graduation) they never cared or even looked to see if the name on the ticket matched the name on the ID...Let alone check to see if it was actually me on the student ID.

Like I said...I don't know that it's worth getting in real trouble over though

yeah I know, and you're right.....I told him about it and that's what he said. That he already had the tickets and he didn't think there was much risk of me getting caught if I didn't have to show my student ID. And I get what you're saying, I agree with you 100%. If he didn't have the tickets I wouldn't be trying. But I feel like the chances of them remembering me are really slim. Especially when I wasn't the main one involved in the incident and was fully cooperative with university police. I was nice to them, they were nice to me, wrote me up and told me to have a nice day. haha. My friend went through a bit more trouble.

I could use someone else's ticket and ID, but I feel like that puts me at higher risk of getting caught if than I don't have to show my ID with the ticket that I have.

I never said I had to show ID....I said that I didn't have to show ID....ha.....He got it at a discounted price but he already has it along with the rest of my family's tickets and he said they're all the same.

You should be safe. I have friends that sit near my family and we know they are there and what they look like. We bump into them about twice a year at most when we are in the stadium A random cop isn't going to recognize you sitting in a different section.

place beer in hand, walk up to gate usher, show ticket for scanning, after scanning is complete, walk into stadium

guess it depends on what gate you go in...some gates you gotta empty your pockets and they;ll look through a girl's bag or purse. airplane bottles are easy to sneak in. a beer can would be a little more problematic.

i usually just stand right beside the gate, chugging/finishing my beer and then toss it before walking up the gate.
