Hi everyone. A friend of mine suggested I share with you a project I've been working on. It's an augmented reality adventure game, played in the real world like a scavenger hunt or geocache. The eventual goal is to release a large-scale game, called Scryer, but for now a mini-game is available to play around the triangle. Be one of the first to try it out by visiting http://www.facebook.com/fissurecreations and liking the related post. 9/18/2014 1:19:14 AM |

I think stuff like this is really cool. I'll try to check it out. TWW played Ingress for a bit there. Maybe they'll be interested in this? Folks'll probably tell you to buy an ad.

Anyone can play now by checking out the posting on OpenCache. Find the cache? Log your visit! There's a limited number of pathtags in the cache as well, produced exclusively for those who find it.

I am excited to share that I have launched a Kickstarter campaign for Scryer, a location-based holographic adventure game. Full access to the game comes at the $10 pledge tier. Let me know what you think about the project!

If Scryer is successfully funded, survey responses will determine which of the 100 most populated cities in the USA will host the game, with at least ten portals to discover in each." |
I hate to be that guy, but....
Your pitch here is that if I'm really, really, really lucky I might get to watch less than a dozen FMVs of a bunch of white guys having their best go at freshy's-first-short-film....
It's hard to get hard about this you know?2/20/2015 6:54:41 AM |

Yea, I understand what you're saying. Our vision is actually more along the lines of Ingress or Endgame, but with the addition of actual augmented reality (holograms). http://www.theverge.com/2014/10/7/6927605/welcome-to-endgame-google-worldwide-augmented-reality-game
I'll see if we can make that vision any clearer in our first update video. Thanks for the feedback. 2/21/2015 1:13:33 PM |
