I'm actually looking at a few positions open in denver- I'm interested to see who is out there and some good places to live near brighton, thornton, or Colorado Springs. Trying to live on a lake.

^^^Also almost all the lakes in/around Denver are man made. The only natural lakes are the higher elevation alpine lakes. The lake in Dillon is pretty awesome. Although it's frozen 4+ months of the year.

Do you not want to live in Denver? I feel like people only move to Boulder (if you've got $$$ and don't want a big city feel) or Colorado Springs (don't know why people would move there - although I haven't been but heard it's nice).

I live in the springs. It's cool depending on what you're into. You would not want to live here if your job is in Denver. It would be like living in Greensboro and working in Raleigh.

from what I was told, they have the only free gondola system in the world.
