a banjo music festival was the largest gathering of people ever for a single day event in raleigh

so they're trying a banjo music station in this market

Wish it played more Newgrass and less of the old traditional Bluegrass. I was excited about a dedicated bluegrass station, but its coverage kinda blows over here in Chapel Hill, and when I do catch it you mainly hear old school bluegrass.

They moved 102.3 to 96.9 like a month ago, and started the bluegrass thing.


I'm digging it, but the rotation could stand to be a bit larger. They only play like 40 songs.

i turned it on and it was static Dec 1st. Is there music on it now? as of yesterday it was still static.
