Has anyone taken the Core and Ornamental/Turf test for their pesticide license? What should I expect? Has anyone taken the two day class before the test? Did the class provide more information on what sections to focus on in the study books?

I didn't take the classes, just studied the manuals. Seemed like all the questions came directly from the books

I found the exam very difficult, but managed to pass on the first attempt. Get to know your soilborne insects and fertilizers. Those are the questions that tricked me

Thanks. Were the math questions similar to the ones they ask at the end of each chapter?

yes very similar. just calculating total area, rates per acre, % active ingredient per spray area, etc
