spraying glyphosate pre-harvest is not a very common practice, really just in years where something goes wrong weatherwise (delayed harvest, delayed in-crop herbicide applications, etc). I can think of maybe a handful of wheat growers around me who use it pre-harvest. also, I could be wrong, but I don't think the EU will accept US wheat that has been sprayed with glyphosate, so most US farmers won't take that risk. also, wheat that has been sprayed with glyphosate will not germinate properly, thus cannot be sold for seed, so that eliminates yet another use for it. again, not worth the risk
