swans was the only thing that blew me away this year, so all the things I listened to the most in no particular order after that:
swans - to be kind the war on drugs - lost in the dream the new pornographers - brill bruisers ty segall - manipulator st vincent - st vincent sharon van etten - are we there smashing pumpkins - adore reissue
a lot of solid albums this year, but 2012 and 2013 were a little better, I think

Yo if you like Bastard Sapling you should DEFINITELY check out Alraune.
^You should check out Yautja if you haven't. The drummer from Alraune plays in a post sludge/hardcore type band that is pretty rad. They also released an album this year that is great. https://yautja.bandcamp.com/track/of-descent

Listed to a good bit of Pitchfork's top 10 albums, honestly the only one that got me to perk up at my desk was FKA Twigs. A couple of the tracks on RTJ2 were nice too.
Although listening to Caribou now, that's pretty good.
