typically, my wife and I carpool to work in her car and then use my car on the weekend and for trips. I think we've been somewhere between 6,000 and 7,000 each the past several years (total including work trips). On her car, the majority of that would be work trips. On my car the majority of it is not.

If I get this job I'm trying for 59 miles from my house, it'll get even worse. ![](images/sick.gif) 12/11/2014 7:06:03 PM

Damn some of y'all drive a lot. I've put less than 5K last year on my car, work included (my commute is less than 10 miles.) More than that on my wife's since that's the one we use for long trips, but probably about 8K in the past year. 12/11/2014 9:32:00 PM

Probably less than 1k. I live a few blocks from work, so I walk everyday. Only time I really use it is to go run errands (groceries, etc.) & visit famiy/friends during the weekend. Since I leave my car in a parking deck, I tend to forget where I park my car. 12/11/2014 9:43:18 PM

between our 2 cars we put about 15,000 mainly due to road trips - we work together and it's a 4 mile commute 12/11/2014 9:53:11 PM
