I was never a fan of touch screen interfaces and then I began to see that there was a huge correlation with how often I had to clean the screen and how dirty my hands are.
I also make extra effort to keep at least one hand "clean" at all times for the touching of the iPad screen (to minimize obscuring the screen with extra oil.)
After regular browsing, You definitely want to keep your hands clean more. Has anyone else experienced this unexpected tangential benefit to excessive iPad use?
Excessive nose picking may also lead to what I have come to call "booger browsing effect" where viewing e-bay or other sites may unintentionally cause the viewer to get the impression that boogers are for sale on e-bay, when in fact, it is just exterior boogers on the screen placed by a previous user. As the boogers are existing IRL, they may already be in your possession, thus not in the listings of e-bay.
If anyone has had experience with this, please let me know.
(PSA: Don't share ipads with people who pick their noses or scratch their assholes all day) 1/23/2015 1:43:39 PM

I don't really consider hygienics to be a benefit...I just go about my daily life touching things that need to be touched, unless they've undergone some disgusting process before my very eyes
and I stay pretty healthy 1/25/2015 1:17:52 PM

Are you trying to be fancy saying hygienics instead of hygiene? Come to think of it, that's the first time I have heard/read "hygienics"! So I am curious now, is that the common 'Murrcan way of saying hygiene, or just in the south, or you just prefer it? ![](images/smile.gif) 1/25/2015 6:20:23 PM
