I guess this is good for the city and I like how they mentioned NCSU, but I don't see Raleigh as a must visit place. I think of Raleigh as a "neutral city" as in it doesn't have a feel, it is just a nice mid size town to live and work in. I do like how we are less than 4 hours from multiple NASCAR tracks, multiple amusement parks, multiple golf resorts, and some cool historic sites. Those places aren't actually in Raleigh though.

Out of the 5 places listed, the only ones I would be really interested in maybe going to are San Antonio and Albuquerque. They actually have some historic sites near by and Albuquerque is where the Balloon Fiesta is and I would like to see that some day.

Anyway, what am I missing? Is there a famous national monument, or national park in Raleigh that I don't know about? Or do we have some major amusement park I don't know about? Do we host some famous festival?

Primary reason why we made the list

^Well then Martinsville, Charlotte, Bristol, Richmond, or Darlington should be on the list instead of us.

Just clicked the link and read through it as Stefon from SNL

Home of North Carolina State and right down the road from Duke and UNC, Raleigh epitomizes the best of a small, metropolitan Southern town. Head to 42nd St. Oyster Bar for dinner, stop in for a drink at Cornerstone Tavern, and don't miss Beasley's Chicken + Honey for some damn good fried chicken and waffles.

^^True. It is interesting how Raleigh always seems to make these lists. "Best Place For Business" and "Best Place to Live" is a more logical mention though.
