I figured this out today. The reason why people hated Batman and Robin is because the openly gay director Joel Schumacher turned it into a 2 hour gay musical that he claimed was just a take on the humorous Adam West Batman. Come on people, it is filled with man nipples, butt cheeks, and sparkly naked guys dancing around with Poison Ivy. Given this perspective, I actually quite enjoy the film now.

This is easily the worst Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

everybody in this film has since come out to say that they were horribly miscast.
