Baby #2 is so baby #1 will have a sibling, and she unconsciously figured things couldn't get worse...so why not just go for it...

I'm still interested in knowing who lives in the house. Who would want someone like that living in their garage and who would let them install flooring?

I have a friend who has a garage that is nice enough that someone could live in it if they had to, but he doesn't let random people live there. They just use it as a party room.

yeah rent is kinda a pain in the ass because it constantly goes up while our salaries don't.

however i have a hard time finding sympathy for people like this. if she can't afford the prices in that area she needs to move somewhere else and apply for section 8 housing.

I know when I get back to the States in December, I'm going to be living in a FROG (furnished room over garage) at my friends house for 6 months till I start clinicals ... not quite the same as a garage but similar enough.
