Since this is an IFC imposed ban then it doesn't matter if your house is on or off campus. IFC can send a representative to your social function to monitor if there is any alcohol. If it were ban imposed by NC State or student housing then it wouldn't apply to an off campus house.

Was there ever a usefulness to these groups? Think about it, the older frats/sororities were founded in a racist segregated world and have continued as such for the most part. The Black frats/sororities were founded in response to the white groups so they too are racist/segregated (I don't want to hear the brotherhood nonsense they spit out).

I tried to convince my GF that these groups were retarded, but she really wanted to join one so she decided on the "easiest" one(she really wanted to do AKA, but that ECU Delta death stopped that nonsense), the honor frat (its co-ed with the only bar for entry your GPA). She had the flu the first week of initiation and missed their stupid all night camping (making people march around, sing stupid shit, and stay up ALL NIGHT in the woods). They proceeded to waste her time, collect cash(Luckily they didn't cash the checks in time and she put a stop pay on them), and reject her knowing full well they were gonna do that shit after the first week. She now sees them in the same light as me FUCKING RETARDED groups of kids. You will get this nonsense from every one of these groups since you have kids in positions of power.

College should be about getting a education, not carrying on some stupid racist/sexist/X-ist tradition. These kids would be better served by taking a extra course each semester, instead of spending money to join these stupid groups. And the university would be better off making their houses into student housing and charging a premium to live there.

I was in an "honor frat". Our dues were like $25. And we weren't racist/sexist.

It was nice having a group of friends in similar majors.

Other than dues to a National Chapter, fraternity dues go towards insurance, housing costs and social events. Not like people are charged money for no reason, and then said money just goes into a general slush fund

Any perception (even if erroneous) that there exist white-privileged individuals engaged in enjoyable activities is now a strict liability offense. An IFC observer must give full reports.
