not more frequently. If you go by numbers, whites are killed more frequently. The 1.28 and 2.74 are compared to population numbers only. Since blacks are a minority, their ratio is going to be higher. Whites, by the numbers, were killed twice as many times in 2012 as blacks were. Also, black deaths by cops have been cut in half in the last 20 years.

i think what he's rolling his eyes about is... twice the number of whites were killed not twice the rate.

Rate would imply 1 % of blacks are killed and 2 % of whites... when this isn't the case giving white population is much higher than blacks the which percentage.. or rate.. is much lower.

Criminal demographic studies suck honestly they don't paint the whole socio-economical picture. Because as a percentage of people arrested the number of whites killed is alarmingly higher. But on the flip side the crimes that whites are typically wanted for are usually significantly more severe than the average larceny.
