In how many of those riots were bricks being thrown at cops or fire hoses slashed? All of those protests had a massive amount of arrests and were well reported on in the news. The actions are described as 'violent', 'unlawful' and other words with a negative connotation.

Most of the Ohio State stories that say "rioters" are about how almost nobody called them rioters...like the second link you posted.

They set almost ninety fires around Columbus, broke into the stadium, tore down the goal posts, and set the stadium on fire, too.

Police made seven (7) arrests. All the other people there were apparently revelers who got "a little out of hand," according to NBC.

There's just no way for you to argue that rowdy black folks and rowdy white folks are regarded similarly. Cause they obviously aren't.

So I covered Ohio State and clicked one of your links about Vancouver. Police arrested over 100 people but only charged two of them at first. They changed their approach to the investigation when they learned the rioters were nice ones:

^^^Those riots are just as abhorrent as the ones going on now. The thugs that were out pillaging and plundering for absolutely no reason then are as useless in the grand scheme of things as the ones that are out doing it now. None of them are doing it for any good reason. There is never a good reason to burn and tear up stuff that isn't your own. If you want to blame someone for the difference in coverage, blame the media. The media is the scum of the earth.

My dad used to teach, and he would see it all the time, what BJ described above. Kids would be doing really well, then all of a sudden their aptitude would get noticed by others, then they would turn on the kids who did well, calling them uncle toms etc. Over time, the kids that did really well would listen to the other kids, start turning in less and less work, and eventually have failing grades.

Obviously this didn't happen to everyone, but it happened enough times for it to be a notieceable issue.
