Ghosts was ~meh

Advanced warfare is the first cod i haven't bought the expansion pack for since the series started.

Black ops is a joke and has been since day one.

I'm finally getting used to destiny's "omfg why aren't you dead yet?" crucible and you know what... i like the variety so much better than COD.

I would love for someone to release a realistic FPS shooter similar to MW/MW2 with natural human movements and gun action. That's what drew me into COD in the first place. But I doubt kids these days have the patience for a slower-paced game that involves some actual strategy.

Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 were both contenders for me but the Xbox 360 couldn't run them with a good frame-rate.

Eventually a quality shooter will be made that can replace COD, then there will probably be a few good games before Activision or EA buys it and milks it dry.

Advanced Warfare was good on PC, but the exo suit movement really isn't suited for a controller

I can't believe people actually enjoy the unrealistic movements of Advance Warfare/titanfall. Realistic movements and fast paced action are what kept me playing COD and not Halo....

The movements were always realistic. You couldn't jump over buildings etc in cod like you can in Halo, you didn't have fake guns in Cod etc. Those are things I really enjoyed about the series. It all went down hill with the addition of the heartbeat sensor.

I do miss the feeling of playing a new Call of Duty where everyone is level 1-5 starting fresh on new maps and unlocking new things.

It gets old really fast when you realize there is no depth to the game and the maps are just clusterfucks of chaos though, or the weapons are all essentially the same gun if you look at the actual weapon charts.

You can jump really high in Halo. Halo has gravity lifts/teleporters/vehicles/armor abilities in the shitty new ones for mobility.

Call of Duty has sprint and whatever robosuit gimmick they happen to sell at the time.

I do not. After playing the beta, I thought it was a little too "cartoony" and had more of small expansion feel to it - didn't justify my purchase of it. Plus I generally don't trust new releases anymore until they've been out for some time and have had multiple update cycles.

Still play bf4 and love it.

This is the deal, while this game is 100% the shittiest COD I've ever laid eyes I might buy it anyway and play it for a month and sell it back to Amazon for $40. I'll get $20 worth out of this just for the lulzies. However, this is only if my buddy wants to get it otherwise I'm off the COD bandwagon.

Hearing things like "innovation" and "for the first time ever" during COD's E3 is just a joke at this point.

I'm hoping they go back to WW2 next year, just to put an end to all of these stupid gimmick/movement mechanics. Less is more.

Either way, I can play COD4, W@W, and MW2 on the Xbone soon apparently so no problem.

Titanfall was OK. Destiny was a lot of fun. I miss 6 man White Warrior squads of old. I am down to give the beta a shot if anyone else dares.
