Sleeping mountain lion with broken leg, and the best thing the police dept can figure out to do is shoot him 16 times with a shot gun. That's just horrific

Damn fine police work.

Shoot mountain lions before they kill domesticated dogs, you know, animals we actually care about.

Sprinkle a little crack on him.

Irrational fear wins again.

This is how that situation would have ended if I were around.

In other words, I would call Will Ferrell and let him handle it.

I have no problem with them shooting this cat. They should have shot it in the head, and with a bullet instead of shot.

Shotgun blasts to the body aren't a means to an instantaneous death.

Or they could have called the animal control, tranquilized it, accessed it physical condition, and then made a decision about its life.

I bet the people that called the cops feel like shit now.

^^it could have hypothetically attacked and killed a kid. I think that this is standard protocol: they should have just given it a head shot though as many have said.

If this story is true, that bastert should be charged with animal cruelty.

But I don't trust your strangely named, clickbait websites.
